Alchemy is the medieval forerunner of chemistry based on the supposed transformation of matter. It concerned particularly attempts to convert base metals into gold or to find a universal elixir. Alchemy is also a seemingly magical process of transformation creation or combination but either way lets get started. There are two types of alchemy internal and external. Internal alchemy is the alchemy of the spirit which is practiced by sages trying to gain mastery over the self through the journey of self awareness understanding and etc. External alchemy is practiced by the people that tried to harmonize the external forces to transform matter into what they believed to be its purest form : gold Now I am going to explain the three stages of alchemy.
The first stage is calcination this the process of thermal decomposition at breakdown this is when we are composed of ego and essence and we have to and we have to bring the ego to fore and dissolve it away allowing our essence to rise to the surface.
The second one is dissolution. In this stage the practitioner moves from a victim-consciousness stage (blaming others for our struggles and problems ) to realization of our own distastes.
The third and final stage is separation this is when the pure is extracted from the rest.
Separation refers to the true separation of our one set of thoughts and associated emotions
from the others for instance forgiveness only become true once we have recognized the negative emotions we have towards the other person and then authentically forgiving them.
Now I am going to end this off with a few books about alchemy.
